Business Intelligence
Built by 10XA reporting layer that turns raw operational data into decisions — margins, trends, exceptions — computed once, trusted everywhere.
Designed, engineered and documented by the 10X team. You own the outcome; we own the build.
The problem
Every meeting starts with an argument about whose number is right. The same ratio is calculated three different ways in three reports, problems surface a month after they started, and the analysis all depends on one person who understands the spreadsheet.
Is this the right fit?
Being honest about fit saves both sides time. This tends to work when the situation looks like the left column — and not yet when it looks like the right.
You are probably ready if
- Different reports disagree on the same metric
- Decisions wait days for someone to assemble numbers by hand
- You can get the relevant teams to agree what each metric actually means
- The data exists somewhere, even if it is scattered
Probably not yet if
- No one will commit to a single definition for the key metrics
- The real problem is missing source data, not reporting — that comes first
- You want a dashboard but not the discipline to act on it
What 10X builds
Concrete system outputs. Not every project includes every item — scope is set to the problem, not a feature list.
How delivery works
The full 10X Operating Model →This capability draws most on these stages of the Operating Model. Each stage ends with evidence and a decision gate before the next begins.
- 01 · Review
Surface where numbers disagree today and which decisions depend on them.
- 02 · Blueprint
Agree and document metric definitions with the teams that own them — the make-or-break stage.
- 03 · Build
Model the data once, compute logic in the warehouse, and prove it against a known period.
- 04 · Operate and Improve
Extend coverage and keep definitions current as the business changes.
What’s included
- Single source-of-truth data model
- Metric logic computed in the warehouse, not in slides
- Scheduled reporting and exception alerts
Problems this solves
- Ratio metrics are recalculated differently in every report
- Problems are discovered a month after they started
- Analysis depends on one person who knows the spreadsheet
Common questions
Why does metric definition matter so much?
A dashboard everyone argues with is worse than no dashboard. Definitions are agreed and signed off by the teams that own each number before anything is built — the system computes against them, it does not invent them.
Is this a dashboard or something more?
A dashboard is the surface. Business intelligence is the layer underneath — the model, the definitions and the pipeline that make the dashboard trustworthy.
Do you pool our data with other clients for benchmarks?
No. Reporting compares your own markets and channels; we never pool or reuse one client’s data for another’s benefit.
Who owns the data model and definitions?
You do — model, definitions and documentation are handed over so your team can maintain and extend them without us.
How long before it is trustworthy?
Trust comes from the definition work, not the tooling. We prove the numbers against a known period before anyone runs a review off them.
